Moscow
In may 2005 ze franz made their first ever trip to mother russia, playing three shows, one of which was at the B2 club in moscow on the 20.05.05, where the band gave an inaugural airing in the live arena to two brand new tracks, these being 'you can have it so much better' & 'what you meant'
They also rolled out only for the second time, 'the fallen' & 'evil and a heathen', the first time being at the band's show at the royal albert hall back in april. Also aired was a completely rearranged version of what has become a live favourite over recent months 'im your villain'.

Scala Show
The band played an intimate little gig exclusively for Radio One's Lamacq Live show on the 12.09.05 at the Scala in London. They debuted the track 'Walk Away' for the very first time live, which saw Paul playing guitar and Andy Knowles taking over drumming duties.

Sisters
The God Bearing Sisters, a band comprising of Nick, along with the artists exhibiting at the 'St. Mungo & Me' art exhibition which ran in December 2006 at the Lightbox Gallery in Los Angeles, performed a set at the opening night of the event on the 02/12/06. Amongst other songs, Nick along with his pals performed renditions of two Franz tracks that he'd penned, these being 'Ghost In A Ditch' & 'Jeremy Fraser'.
